Famous psychics and mediums usually become famous because they are good in the first place (though not always). And they typically get a lot more experience once they are famous, which consequently makes them better than they were before they got famous. And if they are giving readings on television or in front of thousands of people at live events, then they are getting a lot of feedback from people. This holds them accountable to be the best they can be as psychics or mediums. Aside from this, however, the answer is no, famous psychic and mediums are not necessarily better than nonfamous psychics and mediums.
This is really a question of common sense. We all know celebrities who are nasty people.
Just because they are famous doesn’t make them nicer people. Criminals have even become famous, but we wouldn’t want to invite them for a sleepover. And the same is true for famous psychics and mediums. There are nice ones, mean ones, honest ones, dishonest ones, highly gifted ones, and poorly gifted ones. Just because they’re on TV or have written a best-selling book doesn’t make them any better or worse than any other psychic or medium.
There will always be people on the planet who feel that they absolutely must get a reading with a famed TV medium—even though the reading costs more than they can afford. These people assume the psychic medium is the best because she’s on television. The truth is that being a great psychic medium is not the first criterion for getting your own TV show. Being entertaining is actually the first criterion.
Still, there are psychic mediums whose reputations live up to their fame. I’ve watched and analyzed medium John Edward giving readings during two live events in Boston and found him to be absolutely extraordinary. George Anderson, another well-known psychic medium who used to be on TV more in my early years of investigating the afterlife, seems to live up to his reputation as well. And I saw James Van Praagh give live medium demonstrations that absolutely blew my mind.
These three famous mediums are highly gifted, and their abilities have benefited a great deal from their years of giving thousands of readings. But I’ve also tested psychic mediums who are virtually unknown who are also impressive. This is not to take away from John, George, or James. I admire them as mediums and as trailblazers who have paved the way for other psychic mediums to do what they do. But I have no doubt that they would all agree with me when I say that there are lesser-known psychic mediums with remarkable ability, integrity, and professionalism who likely charge a lot less and are much more accessible. And I say this only so you don’t feel that you must get a reading from a famous psychic medium in order to get a great reading. It truly isn’t necessary.
One of the reasons I created BestPsychicDirectory.com is to help you locate credible, legitimate, and reputable psychics and mediums who are affordable and can give you a psychic or mediumistic reading soon—not months from now. I’ve had readings from famous psychics and mediums and I’ve had readings from psychics and mediums who are not famous, and some of my best readings came from the latter category. So don’t think you have to see someone famous, because not every extraordinary psychic or medium wants their own TV show. And that gives you a much larger selection from which to choose the right psychic or medium for you.
